    STUDY ON THE ELECTROCHEMICAL BEHAVIOR OF ACTIVE LIGHT YELLOW K-4G AT CARBON PASTE ELECTRODE

    • The electrochemical behavior of active light yellow K-4G was studied at a carbon paste electrode having its surface area of 0.07 cm2.Upon scanning in the potential range from -1.0 to 1.3 V,good redox property was observed,and it was found that the active dyestuff is protonated before the electro chemical redox reaction.The rate of the electrode reaction was found to be controlled by adsorption.
