Determination of 7 Flavonoids in Honeycomb by HPLC Combined with Matrix Solid Phase Dispersion

    • A method of HPLC combined with matrix solid phase dispersion was used to measure Rutin、 Morin hydrate、 Luteolin、 Quercetin、 Apigenin、 Chrysin, and Kaempferide in Honeycomb. Silica gel was used as matrix solid phase dispersing agent and mixed well with the sample to be used as column packing material. Then the seven flavonoids were eluted with methanol. The eluent was separated on a Pinnacle II C18 column using a mixture of acetonitrile-0.2% (φ) phosphate solution as mobile phase for gradient elution. UV-detection at 260 nm was adopted. The linear relationship between the peak area and the mass concentration of the seven flavonoids was in a certain range, with detection limits (3S/N) in the range of 0.07-0.32 mg·L-1. The method was used to measure the seven flavonoids in honeycomb. The recovery rates measured by standard addition method were in the range of 84.9%-95.9% with RSD (n=6) in the range of 2.3%-6.3%.
