HG-AFS DETERMINATION OF ARSENIC IN OFFICINAL VEGETABLE OIL WITH SOLVENT EXTRACTION SEPARATION

    • Solvent extraction using ethyl ether as solvent was used instead of the ashing method or of the wet digestion method to separate the oil from the sample.Arsenic(Ⅲ,Ⅴ) in the organic phase was transferred into water solution by back-extraction with water,in which it was finally determined by HG-AFS under the optimized conditions. The recoveries of arsenic were in the range of 94.4%-99.0%,and the RSD′s (n=5) obtained was 35%.The method was proved to have better accuracy and precision, and to be simple and rapid in operation.
