Abstract
A method of HPLC for the determination of 6-bromo-2,4-dimethylaniline hydrochloride in diazo-reaction liquor was proposed, which was used to monitor the diazo-reaction process.Hypersil BDS C18 column (4.6 mm×200 mm,5 μm) was used as stationary phase, and acetonitrile-water (60+40) mixed solution was used as mobile phase.UV-detection at the wavelength of 210 nm was adopted in the measurement.Under the prescribed conditions, linear relationship between values of peak area and mass concentration of 6-bromo-2,4-dimethylaniline hydrochloride was kept in the range of 5.0-200.0 mg·L-1,results of recovery found were in the range of 96.6%-103.0%.
