    Determination of Trace Amount of Thallium(Ⅰ) by Photochemical Catalytic Kinetics

    • Based on photochemical catalysis of thallium(Ⅰ) on the reaction of lucigenin-hydrogen peroxide system under UV radiation,a method of photochemical catalytic kinetic determination of trace amount of thallium(Ⅰ) was proposed.Influential factors,including the light sources,radiation time,amount of reagent,and coexisting ions were systemically studied;and the mechanism of photochemical catalytic action of this system was discussed.Under the optimum conditions,linearity range of thallium (Ⅰ) was found between 0.05-0.3 mg·L-1 with detection limit (3s/k) of 0.008 1 mg·L-1.The proposed method was used in the determination of trace amount of thallium (Ⅰ) in mineral sample,giving values of RSD (n=6) of 3.27% and recovery in the range of 80.0%-120.0% respectively.
