    Determination of 2,6-Dinitrochlorobenzene-4-Sulfonic Acid by 1st Derivative UV-Spectrophotometry

    • It was found that by choosing of 248 nm as the measuring wavelength in the 1st derivative UV-spectrophotometric determination of 2,6-dinitrochlorobenzene-4-sulfonic acid,the interferences of most of those interfering substances were eliminated. Under the optimized conditions,linear relationship between values of 1st derivative of the compound determined and their concentrations was found in the range of 0-81.24 mg·L-1 with its correlation coefficient of 0.999 8. Detection limit (3σ/s) of the method was found to be 2.39 mg·L-1. In the analysis of samples taken from 3 batches,average value of RSD′s (n=6) of 0.17% was obtained. Results of recovery test obtained were in the range of 99.5%-100.1%.
