    FAAS Determination of Lithium in Silver-Base Alloys

    • FAAS was applied to the determination of lithium in silver-base alloys.0.100 0 g of sample was dissolved with 10 mL of HNO3 (1+1) and 2 drop of HF,and diluted to 50.0 mL,10 mL of this solution was taken and dilated to 50.0 mL with water,and the content of lithium in the sample solution was determined under the optimized working conditions of the instrument.The interference of Ag+ was eliminated by matrix matching method.Values of detection limit (3s) found was 1.2 μg·L-1.The proposed method was used in the analysis of samples of silver-base alloy,values of RSD (n=6) found were less than 0.6%,values of recovery obtained by standard addition method were in the range of 96.7%-106.0%.
