Abstract
The sample of crude oil was digested with nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide in a closed vessel under pressure, and the contents of Mg, Al, V, Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, Mo, Cd and Pb in the sample solution were determined by ICP-MS. Values of detection limit (3s) for the 10 elements were found in the range of 0.012-0.300 μg·g-1. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of an oil standard sample (S-21), results obtained was in conformity with the certified values, and RSD′s (n=5) found were in the range of 0.5%-5.0%. Values of recovery of the 10 elements were found in the range of 93.3%-116.0%.
