    GF-AAS Determination of Lead in Whole Blood

    • The blood sample was diluted 10 times with a mixed solution containing PdCl2,Triton X-100 and HNO3,which was used also as matrix modifier.An aliquot of the diluted sample solution was introduced into the instrument,and its lead content was determined by GF-AAS directly under prescribed working conditions of the instrument.Detection limit (S/N=3) of the method was found to be 5.4 μg·L-1.The proposed method was applied to the determination of lead in 2 CRM′s (GBW 09139e and GWB 09140e),giving results in consistency with the certified values,and values of RSD′s (n=6) in the range of 1.2%-3.2%.
