An Effective Approach for Extraction of Volatile Components from Complex Materials:Simultaneous Distillation-extraction and Its Applications

A brief introduction of the principle of simultaneous distillation extraction (SDE),and the key experimental parameters affecting the efficiency of SDE was presented.Recent status of applications of SDE to food and drink analysis,extraction of essential oil from plants and their analysis,as well as to the tobacco analysis were reviewed.(72 references cited.)
