AFS Determination of Arsenic and Mercury in Sea Moss-Digestion of Sample by Microwave Heating
Microwave assisted sample digestion was applied to the AFS determination of arsenic and mercury in sea moss.Results of recovery tests obtained were in the ranges of 90.0%-97.0% for arsenic and 90.0% to 94.0% for mercury.Detection limits(S/N=3) for arsenic and mercury were found to be 0.10 μg·L-1 and 0.01 μg·L-1 respectively.
