    • Microwave assisted sample digestion was applied to the AFS determination of arsenic and mercury in sea moss.Results of recovery tests obtained were in the ranges of 90.0%-97.0% for arsenic and 90.0% to 94.0% for mercury.Detection limits(S/N=3) for arsenic and mercury were found to be 0.10 μg·L-1 and 0.01 μg·L-1 respectively.
