    APPLICATION OF GENETIC ALGORITHM TO SIMULTANEOUS SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF MULTI-ELEMENTS IN CHICKEN FEED

    • Genetic algorithm was applied to the spectrophotometric determination of Zn2+,Cd2+,Co2+,Ni2+,Mn2+ and Cu2+ in chicken feed by the color reaction with 5-Br-PADAP in the presence of surfactant OP,to solve the problem of serious over-lapping of the absorption spectra of micellar complexes formed,and making the simultaneous determination of the 6 elements possible.Detection limits of the 6 elements were found in the range of 2-5 μg·L-1,and all the RSD′s obtained were less than 1.1%.
