Abstract
IC was used in the determination of phenol in environmental water. The sample was extracted by hollow fibrous membranes-three phase liquid phase micro-extraction with n-octyl alcohol as extraction solvent. The extraction was carried out under magnetic stirring for 40 min at the rate of 600 r·min-1. The SH-2 Anion column was used for separation, and 12 mmol·L-1 NaOH solutions was used as eluent. Linearity range of phenol was found between 1.00-500 μg·L-1, with detection limits (3S/N) of 0.8μg·L-1. The proposed method was applied to the determination of phenol in surface water, values of recovery found by standard addition method were in the range of 91.0%-109%.
