    GC Determination of Hexane, Acetone, Butanone and Butyl Acetate in Air of Workplace

    • The contents of hexane, acetone, 2-butanone and butyl acetate in air of workplace were determined by gas chromatography. The 4 compounds in air were adsorbed with activated carbon tube, and desorbed with CS2. Agilent 19091N-216 HP-INNOWAX Polyethylene Glycol column was used for separation, and FID was used for determination. Values of detection limit (3S/N) of hexane, acetone, 2-butanone and butyl acetate were found 0.43, 0.30, 0.44, 1.7 mg·L-1 respectively. Values of resolution factors and RSD's (n=6) found were in the ranges of 86.7%-100.3% and 1.97%-3.89% respectively.
