    HPLD Determination of Bisphenol A Octylphenol and Nonylphenol in Water with Separation by Solvent Floatation

    • Bisphenol A,octylphenol and nonylphenol were separated from water sample and enriched by solvent floatation with n-octanol as solvent from the water sample at pH 3,and floated with nitrogen at a flow-rate of 60 mL·min-1,for 90 min.At the end of floatation,10 μL of the supernatant organic phase were taken for HPLC analysis.Detection limits (3s/b) found were 0.025 μg·L-1 (for bisphenol A),0.011 μg·L-1 (for octylphenol) and 0.042 μg·L-1 (for nonylphenol).Tests for recovery were made with a blank water sample as matrix by standard addition method,values of recovery were found in the range of 93.3% to 102.0%,with values of RSD′s (n=7) ranged from 1.3% to 4.9%.
