    ICP-AES Determination of 17 Kinds of Elements in Magnesium and Magnesium Alloy

    • An ICP-AES method for the determination of 17 elements,including Zn,Ni,Al,Si,Zr,Mn,Be,Cu,Fe,Ti,Pb,Ag,Ca,Y,La,Ce and Nd in magnesium and magnesium alloy was proposed.The spectral interferences of co-existing elements were corrected,and the analytical spectral lines for determination and working parameters of the instrument were selected.The proposed method was applied to the analysis of standard sample (C65XMGA10) and pure magnesium sample,giving values of recovery and RSD′s (n=9) in the ranges of 85.0%-110.0% and 0.5%-5.6%,respectively.
