Determination of Trace Elements in Maceration Extract of Material Used for Drinking Water Treatment by ICP-MS

A method of ICP-MS was proposed for the determination of trace amount of Mn,Cu,Zn,Cd,Ag and Pb in maceration extract of materials used for drinking water treatment. The material sample was macerated according to the method mentioned in National Standard GB/T 5750. Indium was used as internal standard. Detection limits were in range of 0.006-0.252 μg·L-1. Values of recovery found were in the range of 85%-107%.
