Abstract
A review on the methods for pretreatment and determination of selenium in foodstuff, and the principles and specific features of these methods covering the years from 1990-2010, was given in this paper. The pretreatment methods including dry method, wet method and microwave digestion were presented; the analytical methods including atom spectroscopy, molecular spectroscopy, chromatography and electrochemistry were presented (20 ref. citied).
